FAQ'S
  • How much experience is necessary to do Coffee News? Most licensees had no previous experience before starting their first publication of Coffee News. The Coffee News manual provides an excellent step-by-step approach in all areas of the business and other licensees are happy to share their experiences. Coffee News Europe and Africa is available to respond to your inquiries at any time. The most important prerequisites for owning a Coffee News franchise are a strong desire to be independent and some sales ability to explain to advertisers the advantages of Coffee News advertising. You should enjoy networking through local organizations such as the Chamber of Commerce and use your creative talents to assist advertisers in how to deliver their message effectively through a Coffee News ad. The manual provides excellent guidance and your local printer will also be happy to provide assistance as needed.
  • Can other licenses be sold in my area? Coffee News Europe and Africa will guarantee you an exclusive area within which no other Coffee News franchise can be established in accordance with the Coffee News licensing agreement.
  • Who determines the price of the ads? Coffee News Europe and Africa will provide guidance based on population and the number of restaurants in the area served. However, the final price decisions are yours.
  • How do you determine the areas to be sold? From past experience, communities of 50,000 population or less can usually support at least one Coffee News license. Ideally, there should be 25-30 restaurants in the area. Some licensees also deliver to hotels, hospitals and waiting rooms as well. There are a number of communities with 5,000-7,000 in population that are doing very well with one edition of Coffee News. It depends a lot on the shopping characteristics of each community. However, Coffee News Europe and Africa will work with you to establish the number of licenses that are reasonable for your chosen area; but if you can establish additional editions within that area, then they are free to you to develop. No additional licensing fees or weekly fees will be due on those editions.
  • How many licenses can one licensee own? All licensees are limited to no more than 20 licenses per any family or relative. Coffee News Europe and Africa wants to insure that those who do the work, reap the rewards.
  • Can I sell my license? All licenses whether operational or not may be sold subject to approval by Coffee News Europe and Africa . New licensees must sign a new agreement and agree to abide by the terms and conditions of the Coffee News license. Obviously, more questions will arise as you pursue this opportunity. We want you to fully understand Coffee News before you make your final decision. We recognize that the most important goal is for you to be successful and we pledge our support in this regard.
